RED RIVER — The highly anticipated 18th Annual Oktoberfest is returning to Red River this year, promising a three-day extravaganza packed with remarkable craft beer, wines, spirits, artisans, food vendors and live entertainment.
The event will take place at Brandenburg Park Oct. 6 to Oct. 8, offering locals and visitors alike a family-friendly experience like never before.
This year’s Oktoberfest will be a celebration of tradition, culture, and community, brought to life by an exciting lineup of entertainment for all ages. Festival-goers will have the pleasure of enjoying captivating performances by the ENMU German Music Ensemble, the talented DJ Luisa Houseworks, and the incredible sounds of Cameron Wrinkle.
In addition to the incredible entertainment, this year’s Oktoberfest introduces several new attractions that are sure to delight attendees. The event organizers have extended their offerings to include face painters, portrait drawers, and much more.
One of the most hotly anticipated highlights of the festival this year is the judged beard and mustache competition. Participants can proudly display their facial hair prowess, vying for recognition in various categories, such as “Best Mustache”, “Most Creative Beard” and “People’s Choice”.
