The 2015 School Board Election has come to an end and with 768 votes cast, the unofficial results are in.
Voters have elected to the UNM-LA Advisory Board:
- Stephen Boerigter; and
- Michael DiRosa.
Voters have elected to the Los Alamos Board of Education:
- Bill Hargraves in District 3;
- Andrea Cunningham in District 4; and
- Jenny McCumber in District 5.
County Clerk Sharon Stover announced that voter turnout in this year’s School Board Election increased 5.5 percent over 2014.
2015 Election Results
School Board Results District 3:
- 94 – Bill Hargraves;
- 86 – Nan Holmes;
- 40 – Sheryl Nichols.
School Board Results District 4:
- 161 – Andrea Cunningham;
- 44 – Michael Fessbender.
School Board Results District 5:
- 124 Jenny McCumber;
- 23 – Judy Bjarke-McKenzie.
UNM-LA Advisory Board Position 3:
- 287 – Michael DiRosa;
- 253 – Troy Hughes;
- 142 – James Nealy Robinson.
UNM-LA Advisory Board Position 4:
- 548 – Stephen Boerigter.
