2020 Tuesdays At The Pond Kicks Off Virtually Tonight

Los Alamos Creative District News:

It’s time to kickoff the Tuesdays at the Pond music series. 

Join The Los Alamos Creative District tonight, June 16, for the kickoff of the 2020 Tuesdays at the Pond summer music performance series.

This year all performances will be virtual, and available for viewing by streaming YouTube videos through the Creative District website, www.CreativeLosAlamos.com or through the Facebook page CreativeLosAlamos.

Each performance will become available for viewing, 5-7 p.m., on the date scheduled below: 

  • June 16 – Los Alamos Jazz Project – Jazz performance by local youth musicians
  • June 23 – Dr. Hall – original Blues, Folk and Americana music by Howard Hall and friends
  • June 30 – Los Alamos Community Winds – Wind ensemble from Los Alamos
  • July 7 – Auto Electric – Fun and Classic Rock-n-Roll
  • July 14 – RyoKarii – Electronic music project from Ryan Schultz
  • July 21 – Flipside Down – Classic Rock performed by four Los Alamos scientist
  • July 28 – The Bus Tapes – Folk, Rock, and Blues with a jazzy twist
  • Aug 4 – TBA

Also, new for this year, local restaurants in the Creative District and Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op will be offering special discounts on food and beer for Tuesdays at the Pond viewers to order, pick-up, and take home to enjoy while watching the performances.

Each week during the performance, an exclusive code will be announced for the participating establishments; this code enables a discount on food and another code for $1 off bottles of beer at The Tub on the following Tuesday.
