A red fox is spotted recently in this backyard on Barranca Mesa. Over the years, hundreds of gray foxes have been seen in Los Alamos, including in this backyard and throughout local canyons. But spotting red foxes has been very rare until this year. This red fox has been seen fairly consistently over the last few months.
