The Los Alamos High School Hilltoppers were firing on all cylinders Tuesday, delivering their strongest performance of the season in front of the home crowd. They powered past Pojoaque Valley at Sullivan Field, earning a dominant 13-0 victory in just one half of play.
Margaret Steinkamp and Jayden Krupp powered the attack, each scoring three goals. Kylee Lovato added two goals, and Dayja Fellers contributed one goal and two assists. Emma Cartelli, Adison Gurley, Mayah Gurley, and Payton Sutherland each scored once, with additional assists from Maren Dixon, Addie DeBurgomaster, and Rafa Rocha.
The victory marks Los Alamos’ third straight district win, improving their record to 9–6–1 overall and 3–0 in district play. The Hilltoppers have yet to concede a goal in district competition, showcasing their strong defensive form anchored by freshman goalkeeper Sarah Price, who has helped secure three consecutive clean sheets.
