Public Meeting: NM4 Crossing, Multi-Use Trail Improvement, & Piñon School Trail Projects

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Public Works Department, in partnership with the Transportation Board, invites community members to attend a second public meeting to discuss the New Mexico Highway 4 and Multi-Use Trail Improvement Project and the Piñon School Trail Project.

These projects involve the design and construction of new and reconstructed multi-use trails along the south side of NM 4, between Sherwood Boulevard and La Vista Drive, within Piñon Park in White Rock. The planned improvements aim to enhance safety and connectivity for both pedestrians and cyclists.

The public meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, in the Municipal Building Council Chambers.
