COMMUNITY News:

Alex Sandborgh of Scout Troop 122, recently completed his Eagle Project, which was to re-landscape the entrance section of the Ponderosa Montessori School at 302 Rover Blvd. in White Rock, which involved moving over 10 tons of rock and dirt, sifting the dirt, and then returning the rocks to the space.

He planned and organized this volunteer effort, which involved 22 others participating in the work for a total of 126 volunteer hours.

Scouts, Scout leaders, and friends helped Alex in this community effort.

Special thanks to both Los Alamos Home Improvement (ACE Hardware) and the Ponderosa Montessori School for paying or giving discounts for the purchase of the materials for the project. Congratulations, Alex, on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout!

Troop 122 has served the Los Alamos area since 1953. With 160 Eagle Scouts, it is the place to grow.
