
EDNM News:
The New Mexico Food Pathways Program is seeking Letters of Interest (LOI) from organizations and retail enterprises interested in reimbursement-based funding for projects that improve food access in underserved communities.
Project Focus Areas Include:
- Expanded access to healthy, affordable staple foods
- Improved economic viability of rural and community-based food retailers
- Increased SNAP-authorized retail capacity
- Enhanced cold chain, storage, and food safety infrastructure
Timeline:
- LOI opens: 9 a.m., July 1, 2026
- Webinar: 2:30 p.m., July 1
- LOI deadline: 11:59 p.m., July 15
- Invitation to apply by: July 22
- If selected, application deadline: 11:59 p.m., Aug. 5
Submission of an LOI does not guarantee funding or an invitation to submit a full application. The LOI serves as the initial screening phase for prospective applicants
