YMCA News:
Patriotic, fun-loving volunteers are needed to assist at The Family YMCA’s 5K Firecracker community race Friday, July 4. Interested individuals may call the Y at 505.662.3100, or email jsmith@laymca.org to sign up for a slot. Helpers will be given a t-shirt of Uncle Sam running.
Helpers are needed for these positions (volunteers should show up at the YMCA 10 minutes before scheduled time for briefing on assignment):
- Two helpers to run games of skill (target throw, ring toss) 7:30-10:30 a.m.
- 20 race guides to hold traffic at driveways 7:30-10 a.m.
- Four helpers to put games away 10:30-11 a.m.
