Los Alamos police responded to the scene of a young woman driving a Lexus sedan down the Main Hill Road about 9 p.m. Sunday in rainy conditions who wound up in a ditch. The woman told witnesses at the scene that she hit her head on her steering wheel but did not lose consciousness. Police closed down the east bound lane for a short period of time while they pulled the woman’s vehicle out of the ditch.
