Since moving to Olympia, Wash., I have been keeping up with the LA news through the Los Alamos Daily Post. Thank you!

However, I must have missed something. Why is there downtown construction going on? Wasn’t there just major work done on the roads/sidewalks on Central just 3-4 (?) years ago to put the cut outs and walkways to slow traffic?

If my recollection is correct, what a waste of money to tear it up and redo. 

Please correct me if I am wrong.
