Little Forest Playschool’ annual Fall Fiesta and Silent Auction is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sept. 6. The Fall Fiesta is one of three events held each year to raise funds for Little Forest, which has been part of the Los Alamos community for more than 60 years.

The Fall Fiesta is held on the two-acre playground area at Little Forest Playschool, 3880 Villa St.

Fall Fiesta festivities include a carnival with activities, animals, games, music and food.

Hundreds of children bring their parents, and while the kids play, parents browse the silent auction, bidding on items donated by local businesses and artisans. The proceeds from this event allow Little Forest to continue its scholarship program, purchase classroom and educational supplies and support basic operational costs.
