It was a cool evening Tuesday for about 40 runners who tackled runs at the top of Barrranca Mesa and down toward the golf course during the Atomic City Road Runners Pace Race.

The fastest 1 milers were Patricia Burnside @ 8:05 and Diego Leonard @ 11:27.

The fastest 3 milers were Ted Romero @ 21.17 and Nikol Strother @ 21.28.

Steve Shook on the 3 mile run was 1 sec off his prediction , and Mark Bjorklund was 14 secs off, and Jackie Peckham was 21 secs off her 1 mile.

The next pace run is 6 p.m. Tuesday at 2.8 miles west of the junction of N.M. 4 and Pajarito Road toward Bandelier. For more information, call 505.672.1639.
