Brenda Fleming

As a student, Brenda Fleming was in Paris, studying the cuneiform writings from ancient Mesopotamia. Later she visited the Louvre and was delighted to see a huge exhibit on Mesopotamia.
Later, she went for a stroll and saw a beautiful Russian Orthodox Church, and L’ Orangerie Museum, where Monet’s lily pad paintings fill the entire wall, floor to ceiling, of the gallery.
At the time, Fleming was studying foreign languages at New Mexico State University. She didn’t know that she would go on to own a graphic design firm, but her world travel was her biggest inspiration for her career.
“In Paris, everywhere you look there are historical and well designed buildings,” Fleming said. “I loved taking in all these elements that make things stand out and be beautiful.”
As a graphic designer, everything she creates is beautiful and stands out. When businesses hire her to make logos, websites and other printed material, she draws upon her travel experiences, seeing designs from around the world, to come up with her best ideas.
“I love learning other cultures and seeing what resonates with other people,” she said.
Fleming also is inspired by nature, especially the colors, sunsets and textures in the New Mexico desert. After completing her degree at NMSU, she completed the digital media arts program at UNM-Los Alamos. She is earning her Master’s Degree in Graphic Information Technology from Arizona State University, which will allow her to create the back end for websites.
Fleming has worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory and as an in-house marketing designer at Unchartered Outposts in Santa Fe. When she had children she decided it was time to start her own graphic design firm.
She enjoys creating logos and branding materials for new business startups. She can create any printed material like, invitations, t-shirts, product labels, websites and brochures.
