An open meeting of the Sierra Club is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1 at the University of New Mexico-Los Alamos in Building 2, Room 202.

House Dist. 43 Rep. Stephanie Garcia Richard will present environmental issues that went before the legislature last year and which are expected to be considered in the coming session.

The public is invited to attend this talk and ask questions about these important local and statewide issues.
