LAPD News:
The first local Domestic Violence Outreach meeting was held Oct. 9 at the Los Alamos Police Daprtment.
Attendees expressed a desire to continue participating and some plan to bring others into the group. There were others invited who could not attend but plan on being involved. The group wants to unite organizations to facilitate service sharing/resources.
The plan is to start meeting twice a month and move forward with strengthening response and service by those who respond to or are involved with domestic violence, family violence, sexual assault, rape, dating violence and other such issues. These issues cover children, adults, teens, elderly, men and women.
