I appreciate Rando Manley for advocating an exciting new use of the old Smith’s location in his recent letter to the editor, but I think he is treading on dangerous ground by suggesting that we house both penguins and polar bears in the old ice cream section.

Since these animals live at opposite ends of the globe there is no telling what would happen if we combined them here in our community.

I would seriously advocate that we stick to our own hemisphere!
