Staff Report:
Gov. Susana Martinez stopped in Los Alamos today to begin a 17-city bus tour to meet with voters and talk about her plan to move New Mexico forward. Many of the stops will be held at local diners and small businesses – places where the voters can talk to the governor about issues that matter to them.
Over the next six days, the Governor is committed to meeting with as many voters as possible to talk about rising graduation rates and the 32,000 private sector jobs that have been created since she took office. The Governor will not only highlight these positive results over the last four years, but also articulate her platform for New Mexico’s future.
“Governor Martinez will visit communities all across the state sharing her vision for New Mexico’s future,” said Chris Sanchez, spokesman for the Martinez campaign. “In the campaign’s closing days, voters have a choice: a candidate who will return us to the days and policies of Bill Richardson or Governor Martinez, the only candidate who will keep New Mexico moving forward.”
The following cities also are on the tour:
- Albuquerque
- Artesia
- Belen
- Clovis
- Espanola
- Farmington
- Gallup
- Hatch
- Los Lunas
- Mesilla
- Mora
- Rio Rancho
- Roswell
- Sunland Park
- Socorro
- Taos
