Los Alamos Police Blotter: Feb. 12 To Feb. 18, 2015

LAPD News:

The following information is provided by the Los Alamos Police Department.

Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.

Feb. 12 at 8:16 a.m. / Police charged a 13-year-old Los Alamos boy with the unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon on school property at 2102 Hawk Dr., and referred him to the juvenile probation officer.

Feb. 12 at 11:07 a.m. / A 46-year-old Los Alamos man reported that he is the victim of larceny on Eniwetok Drive. The estimated loss is less than $20,000.

Feb. 13 at 8:28 a.m. / Police charged a 13-year-old Los Alamos boy with the unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon on school property at 2102 Hawk Dr., and referred him to the juvenile probation officer.

Feb. 13 at 4:22 p.m. / Police charged a 14-year-old Espanola boy with the unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon on school property at 2102 Hawk Dr., and referred him to the juvenile probation officer.

LAURA MANGAN‑VIERIA

Feb. 14 at 1:08 a.m. / Police arrested Laura Mangan-Viera, 48, of Los Alamos at 4032 Trinity Dr., and charged her with operating a vehicle under the influence of intoxicating liquor.

 

 

MARIO MAESTAS

Feb. 14 at 10:24 a.m. / Police arrested Mario Maestas, 18, of Espanola at Smith’s Marketplace on an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction and charged him with shoplifting. The estimated loss is less than $100.

 

 

TERESA BACA‑BIERNER

Feb. 15 at 2:15 p.m. / Police arrested Teresa Baca-Bierner, 41, of Jemez Springs at 751 Trinity Dr., and charged her with being party to a crime.

 

 

ADAM HINKLE

Feb. 15 at 2:15 p.m. / Police arrested Adam Hinkle, 36, of Jemez Springs at 751 Trinity Dr., and charged him with aggravated DW: Blood Alcohol Concentration of .16 or more. 

Feb. 17 at 5:56 a.m. / Police responded to the unattended death of a 96-year-old Los Alamos man at 218 Sombrillo Court. Foul play is not suspected.

DAVID MONDRAGON

Feb. 17 at 12:50 p.m. / Police arrested David Mondragon, 34, of Santa Fe at 1607 Central Ave., and charged him with trafficking a controlled substance.

 

 

KAYLA GOMEZ

Feb. 17 at 12:50 p.m. / Police arrested Kayla Gomez, 28, of Santa Fe at 1607 Central Ave., and charged her with trafficking a controlled substance. Police also charged her at 6:54 p.m. at 2500 Trinity Dr., with possession of a controlled substance.

 

MONICA COOPER

Feb. 17 at 5:45 p.m. / Police arrested Monica Cooper, 48, of Los Alamos at 751 Trinity Dr., and charged her with shoplifting. The estimated loss is less than $250.

 

 

NICOLE TREVETTE

Feb. 18 at 2:59 p.m. / Police arrested Nicole Trevette, 27, of Santa Fe at 3473 Ridgeway Dr., on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant.

Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. / A 46-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was battered by a household member on Alabama Street.

Feb. 18 at 8:30 p.m. / Police charged a 17-year-old Los Alamos girl with assault against a household member at 4100 Alabama St., and referred her to the juvenile probation officer.
