Los Alamos County Little League registration goes through March 15 at LALittleLeague.org for boys and girls ages 4 through 16. This is for all residents of Los Alamos and White Rock. The cost is only $75, which includes a hat and jersey.

TEE BALL – BOYS
For players ages 4-7
Instructional program focused on fun, fitness and fundamentals.
Players hit off a tee.
MINORS B BASEBALL
For players ages 7-9 (6 year olds may play provided they have 1 year of Tee Ball experience)
Instructional program that builds on the fundamentals learned in Tee Ball
Machine pitch in order to transition they children from Tee Ball to hitting a controlled moving ball.
MINORS A BASEBALL
For players age 9-11 (Depending on safety and skill level)
For children with a little more developed playing skills that would like to transition to a “player pitched” ball.
Minors A allows players an opportunity to gain more experience before advancing Majors
Requires tryouts in order for coaches to evaluate safety and skill level.
Players should be able to throw and catch fairly consistently at this level.
Post-season tournament opportunities for selected 9-11 year old players
MAJORS BASEBALL
For players ages 9-12 (Depending on safety and skill level)
For players with more advanced skills
Requires tryouts in order for coaches to evaluate safety and skill level.
Players will be able to throw accurately, catch consistently, and have batting ability.
Select players may qualify for a league’s 11-12 year old post-season tournament team that has an opportunity to advance to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, VA.
SENIORS BASEBALL

Players should have consistent throwing, catching, and batting abilities
SOFTBALL TEEBALL – GIRLS
For players ages 4-7
