Amy Woods Seeks To Serve As County Clerk

By AMY WOODS
Democratis Candidate
Los Alamos County Clerk Candidate

I am committed to public service and believe it is important for residents to contribute to their community. I serve as president of the Los Alamos Council on Cancer, am a commissioner on the Los Alamos County Planning and Zoning Commission and a board member on the Pajarito Acres Homeowners Association.

I was raised in Los Alamos and many of you may know my mom, Carlotta McInteer. After 25 years on the road, I now work as an associate broker at Zia Realty Group and reside with my younger brother in our family home.

I hold an MBA in finance and human resources and a BS/BA degree from Syracuse University and will bring 25 years of experience in management and training to the Clerk’s position. My earlier experience includes field service management in office products and computers, and staff management in logistics and materials management.

Public service is so important to enhance the quality of life in a community. I serve on the Los Alamos County Planning and Zoning Commission, the Pajarito Acres Home Owners Association Committee and am president of the Los Alamos Council on Cancer Board of Directors. Serving as Los Alamos County Clerk will be an extension of my desire to serve my community.

Feel free to email me to discuss the issues at amy@ziarealtygroup.com.

Editor’s Note: Columns on each of the candidates running in the June Primary Election will be featured in the Los Alamos Daily Post print edition and online during the next few weeks.
