Bataan Memorial Death March Gets Underway With Los Alamos Team Competing In Co-ed Category

The Los Alamos Bathtub Row Brewing Team picks up their race bibs early this morning before heading out to compete in the annual Bataan Memorial Death March at White Sands Missile Range. The team of Katie Bahran, Rian Bahran, Kendra Van Buren, Tim White and Jesson Hutchinson are competing in the co-ed category. The Bataan Memorial Death March is a challenging march through the high desert terrain of White Sands Missile Range, conducted in honor of the heroic service members who defended the Philippine Islands during World War II, sacrificing their freedom, health and, in many cases, their very lives. Since its inception, the memorial 26.2 mile march has grown from about 100 to some 6,500 marchers from across the United States and several foreign countries.
