COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County has received a petition from citizens against the N.M. 502 roundabout.

The item is on County Council’s agenda for its April 5 meeting that begins at 6 p.m., in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 1000 Central Ave.

At the April 5 meeting, which is open to the public, the Council has the option to thank the petitioners and take no further action, refer it to staff, or take the action that is requested by the petitioners.

The lead petitioners, William Mead and Joel Williams are expected to attend this meeting to present the petition and will likely make a presentation on the issue.
