LAS VEGAS, N.M. – The New Mexico State Police is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who robbed the Giant gas station on Saturday, March 26 in Romeroville, just south of Las Vegas, N.M.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately six feet tall, weighing approximately200 pounds, and 25 to 35 years old.

The suspect was seen wearing sunglasses, a black Nike baseball cap, white plaid shorts, a black long-sleeved shirt, and had three dots tattooed on the right side of his face.

After the robbery, the suspect fled in a grey or silver passenger car.
