LWVLA News:

The League of Women Voters of Los Alamos is hosting a candidate’s forum for all candidates with opposition in the June Primary Election.

The forum is 7-9 p.m., Thursday, May 12 in Building 2, Room 230 at UNM-LA.

Invited candidates include:

• Republican U.S. House Dist. 3 candidates – Michael Lucero and Michael Romero;
• Democratic District Attorney First Judicial Dist. candidates – Jennifer Lynne Padgett, Marco Peter Serna and Maria E. Sanchez-Gagne; and
• Democratic County Council candidates – Antonio L. Maggiore, Peter T. Sheehey, Chris Chandler and Kristin M. Henderson.

The public is invited to attend this important presentation, which begins at at 6:30 p.m. with refreshments and conversation.
