The Los Alamos Retirement Community/LARC, Sombrillo Nursing and Rehabilitation Community and Aspen Ridge Assisted Living are celebrating Sept. 11-17, both National Assisted Living Week, and National Appreciation Week for Housekeeping, Laundry and Maintenance Employees.

Events throughout the week will be a special opportunity to bring together our residents, families and employees to recognize the unique individuals that reside at Aspen Ridge Lodge, Sombrillo Nursing and Rehabilitation Community and the staff members that deliver care every day.

Our events will acknowledge the bonds that are built between residents and the professionals who are committed to providing person-centered care. Our theme this year, “Keep Connected”, celebrates the countless ways our employees nurture the whole resident and build community through caring relationships and personal connections.

Assisted Living in Los Alamos and our Nursing/Rehab community are a critical component of senior services. We pride ourselves on caring for all aspects of each unique resident. Whether through our social activities, dining experience, or exercise and activity classes, it is our job to ensure resident enjoy a well-rounded lifestyle with as much independence as possible.

Aspen Ridge Lodge, our Assisted Living Community and Sombrillo Nursing and Rehabilitation Community, are an integral part of the larger Los Alamos community. Our staff cultivates connections with local families, business owners, government organizations, community agencies and others to ensure that our residents remain an active part of where they call home.

Aspen Ridge Lodge and Sombrillo Nursing and Rehabilitation Community proclaims the week of Sept. 11 to Sept. 17, 2016, as National Assisted Living Week and National Appreciation Week for Housekeeping, Laundry and Maintenance Employees in Los Alamos. 

We welcome our Los Alamos community citizens to visit friends and loved ones who reside at our facility.
