The Los Alamos Federated Republican Women (LAFRW) hosted its monthly meeting during the lunch hour Thursday, April 13 at the Los Alamos Teen Center. 

 

The group had a very informative tour from Teen Center Director Sylvan Sierra Argo and Assistant Director George Marsden. Members expressed that they were very impressed with the facility itself and all the programs it provides to local high school teens and community. 

 

Following the tour, GOP County Councilors James Chrobocinski and Rick Reiss presented and update on various County projects and events while the group sipped tea, ate finger sandwiches from Secret City Kitchen and desserts from Rose Chocolatier. 

 

Their presentation included information about the upcoming Recreation Bond Election and the County Budget for 2017 and 2018. It was an excellent presentation and very informative, the members said, adding that they were very appreciative of them taking the time to meet with them. 

 

The LAFRW thanked the Teen Center for allowing them to tour the facility and hold their meeting at the center. They thank them for the wonderful “walk through” and encourage everyone who has not yet seen the Teen Center to do so.
