Fuller Lodge was packed to the rafters Friday night with community members checking out the Los Alamos Middle School Big Jazz Band.
The show kicked off this year’s Los Alamos County Summer Concert Series. The concert, which was originally scheduled for Overlook Park in White Rock, was moved indoors due to the weather.
The middle school jazz band’s performance was followed by Afro-Cuban piano maestro, Chuchito Valdes.
Next week’s Summer Concert features Deke Dickerson, the king of the geek guitar, performing rockabilly tunes at Ashley Pond.
