My apologize to Nancy Shick (link) for my poor spelling. Spelling never was a strong point of mine. Thank the Good Lord for spell check, which unfortunately failed me in that letter as it didn’t distinguish between Britain the Country and Briton a citizen of Britain.
As for history, please look at “archives.gov” and Google “the Canada Act”, “Louisiana Purchase”, “Continental Congress” and educate yourself. No apology from you is expected or needed. Growing up outside of Boston next to Concord and Lexington I learned these lessons in elementary school as well as middle school and high school and even in college. If you want to call me out that’s fine. I just ask you to get your facts straight when you do it. And get them from reliable sources not liberal or conservative revisionist history books and websites. Thank you.
As for Mr. Goldman’s point (link), it was perfectly clear, and yes immigration IS a serious point but he no where mentioned a conversation about it. I am glad to listen to anyone’s point of view and I don’t even require they listen to mine. I don’t even pay attention to most insults. But call me a coward when you don’t have the gonads to put on a uniform and protect your country and I will respond. Hell call me a coward and I’ll respond even if you served your country or any country.
He did state his full support of ILLEGAL immigration and stated that illegals made the biggest and most important contributions to the U.S.(which they don’t). He then insulted cities, and therefore the citizens who live in them and elsewhere, that they were cowards for not supporting ILLEGAL immigration and this wasn’t the Home of the Brave.
Anyone not offended by that rhetoric is so far left that your in the Pacific ocean. I fully support LEGAL immigration and asylum for those women and children in real physical danger in their home countries. I do support, though I don’t like it, the right for anyone to fly a foreign flag at their home out of pride for their homeland and hopefully they have enough pride in their new country to fly the U.S. flag next to it. I do support the children brought here by their parents.
I do NOT support, nor does the U.S. Constitution (see Amendment 14 Sec. 1, “archives.gov” will explain that “immunities” refers to the Bill of Rights,), nor the current liberal U.S. Supreme Court’s hard line on immigrants (see https:////www.cnn.com/2017/04/17/politics/supreme-court-castro-expedited-removal/ ), illegals flying a foreign flag in any street in the U.S. WHILE at the same time shouting “viva” that country. If they love their home country and hate us so much they should return home. I don’t go to foreign countries and march in their streets flying the U.S. flag shouting “Long Live the USA”!
There is a real difference between being naive, which is where Mr. Goldman should have stopped and being beyond offensive to the citizens, military and veterans of the U.S. and the country itself for being a “country of laws”, something both sides like to scream but ONLY when it suits them, but liberals seem to believe they have the right to insult and bully anyone, and no one dare challenge them. It’s the liberals not the conservatives who before the election as well as after have been rioting, destroying property, committing assault and batteries and arson. Well liberals can burn the flag, I salute it because it represents the HOME OF THE BRAVE and I won’t back down because I’m not a coward.
