This past April, projectY cowork received the “Most Innovative Business of the Year” award, a recognition from fellow Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce members. In its first year, the coworking space has hosted more than 150 events and had approximately 2,000 visitors stop through for workshops, classes, panel discussions and other special events. These events primarily cater to helping local small business owners and new entrepreneurs start and grow their respective companies.

In addition to entrepreneurs using the space, projectY also welcomes remote workers and trailing partners to those employed by Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), as well as freelancers, students, and any others who are seeking an alternative work environment with high-speed, secure WiFi and a comfortable space with natural light and plenty of seating options. Drop-in day passes start at $10 and include access to the kitchen with free coffee, tea and snacks.
