Congratulations to Sen. Mimi Stewart of Albuquerque, who has been named one of the nation’s most effective legislators – and New Mexico’s most effective legislator – by the bipartisan FiscalNote organization, based in Washington, D.C. this week.
The award is given based on how successful a legislator is at sponsoring and steering legislation through the legislative process, all the way through enactment.
Sen. Stewart has been a champion for New Mexico’s students and school throughout her career, and the award is well earned.
