ACRR News:Wendee Brunish and Jacqueline Nolan were both 3 seconds off their predicted time in the weekly pace race held on the Sach Cowan/Quemazon Nature Trails for top prediction.
Other accurate predictors were: Sanna Sevanto with a 22 second differential as well as fastest female on the 3 mile course with a time of 32:37, Sue Elkins recording a 30 second error, and Paul Elkins with a 48 second difference.
Nikol Strother was the best finisher on the 1 mile paved course at 7:20 and 8 year old William Strother was the fastest male with a time of 9:33. Brian Newnam was the top finisher on the 1 mile trail course recording a 16:35. On the 3 mile course Ryan Smeltzer had a 29:05 for top finisher.
Next week’s race will be the “Four Bridges” Race at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, held on the trail behind the Aquatic Center. One mile paved and trail courses and three mile trail course will be available.
