This Saturday, Oct. 21, the public is invited to join in on the Annual Pumpkin Splash and Halloween Carnival 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Walkup Aquatic Center.

This year’s  theme pays tribute to Dr. Seuss. To kick off the festivities, the bounce house will be set up outside the pool, and various carnival games with great prizes will entertain the kids. Pumpkins will float in the pool, allowing participants to swim around and find just the right one to take home with them. The pumpkin retrieval itself starts at 11 a.m.

Tickets are on sale at the front desk of the Aquatic Center, and also can be purchased the day of the Pumpkin Splash. The cost of the event is $7 for each participant. Direct questions about this fun-filled day to the Aquatic Center at 505.662.8170.
