During his career, Capt. John Snyder was a paramedic-captain and support officer. He served the LAFD from March 31, 2003 to July 4, 2016. Capt. Snyder also assisted the New Mexico State Firefighters’ Training Academy as an instructor. He was known for his quick wit and always greeted anyone he met with a smile. He will be dearly missed.
