First United Methodist Church of Los Alamos at 715 Diamond Dr. is the host church for this year Ecumenical Lenten Series.

“For Such a Time as This…” is the theme of the Ecumenical Lenten Series based on Esther. Other participating churches are Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, The United Church of Los Alamos, White Rock Presbyterian and White Rock United Methodist Church.

The Thursday night series begins Feb. 22 and runs through March 22.

Everyone is welcome to join these participating churches as a faith community to share in fellowship, discussion and worship.

Each night begins with soup and bread dinner at 6 p.m. Classes for adults, youth and children will be offered at 6:40 p.m. with worship at 7:30 p.m. Childcare will be available for children 5 and under.

Devotional booklets written by community church members are available for pick up at each of the churches.
