YMCA News:Registration is open for the YMCA’s developmental co-ed Little Youth Basketball program.
Practices and games are two times per week in Los Alamos or White Rock March 6 through April 19.
This program provides and introduction to basketball for girls and boys. Mini-sized balls will be used on 8’ baskets to allow players to learn proper shooting technique. Focus will be on developing coordination and learning the basic rules of the game.
Volunteer coaches and team parents needed. The Y keeps the teams small so all get plenty of skills practice and play time. Price includes team jersey for players to keep.
