PEEC News:

The Pajarito Environmental Education Center is very pleased to announce that Rachel Landman of Albuquerque has taken the marketing manager position vacated when Sandra West decided to move to an education and sustainability role at PEEC.

Landman is transitioning into the role this month, and will be working full time at the Los Alamos Nature Center.

Landman has a wide variety of marketing experience, along with an environmental education background. She has worked as the editor-in-chief of her college newspaper, in a marketing role at a sustainable fishing company in Alaska, and in educational gardens in Albuquerque. PEEC Executive Director Katie Bruell says, “We’re excited to have Rachel on board with our other talented staff, and look forward to the new directions she will take PEEC’s marketing. And, of course, we’re so glad that Sandra will still be with us, enjoying a different role.”

Landman is eager to get out in the community and meet PEEC’s many friends and partners. She says, “I’m thrilled to join PEEC’s staff and get involved in the nature center’s work. I’m also very excited to become a part of the Los Alamos community”

Visit her at the nature center in April, or reach her at publicity@peecnature.org. West is available at sandra@peecnature.org.
