From the Republican Party of New Mexico:Many churches across the nation will shed light on the issue of life and the unborn this Sunday, Jan. 20, which is recognized as the Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.
Few people are aware that New Mexico has become the late term abortion capitol of the country and has become a late term abortion magnet. Speaker of the New Mexico House of Representatives, Brian Egolf, D-Santa Fe, and Rep Joann Ferrary, D-Las Cruces, intend to make late term abortions more common practice; they want to keep physicians and hospitals from being able to refuse to perform abortions on grounds of objections of conscience and they want to remove health protections for women considering abortions.
