On the job in Los Alamos is a crew working Thursday afternoon on the milling project near the 37th Street intersection on Diamond Drive. The south lane was stripped and a truck sprayed oil on the stripped lane. A large truck then poured asphalt into the main paver shown here, which heats and pours it on top of the oil. Finally, a huge, heavy roller vehicle (not shown) came through to smooth out any ‘wrinkles’. The workmen appeared to move with great speed and efficiency to complete their task.
