    1. SERVIS updates will be made post RLE candidate filing activities.
    2. SOS will be making all updates and will notify both county clerks and affected entities as to updates being made.”

Subject: FW: County terms of office/alignment

Good morning! For those that were not able to attend or watch the lot drawing by the Secretary of State’s Office this morning, Councilor Izraelevitz was the councilor chosen, by lot to have his term extended, which will be extended until 2024.

To best align with Section 1-10-8 NMSA 1978, all Councilors were then renumbered to have an arbitrary district number. Being that you all run at large these are simply label numbers; even numbered designations will run with gubernatorial elections and odd numbered designations will run with presidential elections:

Councilor Maggiore – District 1 (term ends 2020)

Councilor Robinson – District 2 (term ends 2022)

Councilor Izraelevitz – District 3 (term extended to 2024)

Councilor Ryti – District 4 (term ends 2022)

Councilor Schmidt – District 5 (term ends 2020)

Councilor Scott – District 6 (term ends 2022)

Councilor Sheehey – District 7 (term ends 2020)

The SOS stated they plan to have this information on their website, we will also have a link to the information off of our website. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
