Ever felt the craving for freshly made bread or a slice of homemade pound cake? There is a new bakery in town to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Minyoung Kulesza opened her bakery, Minnie Bakery, about six months ago. She operates from her home kitchen, but people can check out her menu offerings at minniebakery.com. Everything is made to order and can be picked up at 54 Canyon View.  If interested in ordering something, customers can send their reservation at least a day ahead of time via email to minyoung.baker@gmail.com or call 505.663.6202.

Kulesza said baking started out as a hobby for her. She is completely self-taught. She said she turned to different cooking blogs, YouTube and her sister for guidance and inspiration. She added she is continuously practicing and refining her craft, with the goal of providing Los Alamos unique and fresh new flavors.

“Baking is my work, but it is also my hobby,” she said. “I want to do my best.”

Her favorite thing to make is bread. She is currently refining her ciabatta.  She added her two young sons enjoy her soft “cloud” bread, which is treat from her home country, South Korea.

Kulesza, her husband and their sons have lived in Los Alamos for three years. Her husband works at Los Alamos National Laboratory. For more information, visit https://minniebakery.com/.
