U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer Aban Jebbanema spent four years in the NJROTC program at Los Alamos High School and graduated in 2004. He returned today to LAHS to speak to students enrolled in the NJROTC program, lead drills and share his experience. Following graduation in 2004, Chief Jebbanema spent two years studying at UNM in Albuquerque before entering the U.S. Navy where he has served for 12.5 years. He is preparing for his fourth deployment aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71), which is the fourth Nimitz-class nuclear powered aircraft carrier in the United States Navy.
