Local Worship Service Changes Due To COVID-19

WORSHIP News:

The following is worship service and activity updates for churches in Los Alamos and White Rock in response to the COVID-19 issue:

Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church

The community of faith who gather as Bethlehem is suspending worship services and activities held in the building until April 1. “Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.” –1 Peter 4:10. This is the time. This is the time to be our best selves. This is the time for creative connections when we need to stay 6 feet away from each other. This is the time to share when the fear of scarcity lies to us and tells us there’s not enough. This is the time for “thank you’s and I’m sorry’s” to our students and teachers who will be missing amazing learning opportunities. This is the time to be sad about the things we will miss and to embrace and love the things that are before us. This is the time to wash your hands with soap and warm water and to use the old fashion technology of a telephone to check in and say how are you doing? This is the time to pray knowing we are not alone. This is the time to love in a new and creative way. May it be so. –Pastor Nicolé Ferry
