I had heard of empty shelves where toilet paper, bread, and other basic supplies normally reside. But, on a trip to the grocery store a week ago, I was surprised to find that my favorite laundry spot remover spray was gone as well.

My next stop was Metzger’s Hardware. A friendly employee by the name of Clay immediately set out to help me.

After checking the shelves and the computer, he said, “That is not an item we normally carry, but we can order it for you.”

One week later they called to say my order was in. How lucky we are in our little mountain town to have a business like Metzger’s that not only has extremely friendly and helpful employees but is willing to go the extra mile to fill a customer’s needs.

 Thank you, Clay, and thank you Metzger’s for the sunshine you have brought to my life. My laundry and I are most grateful!
