Roscoe is a pit bull and today he became a hero. Rosco is a member of the Diana Martinez family. This morning Diana’s 82-year-old mother rolled over in her bed and fell out onto the floor. She is fine but at the time began calling for Diana who didn’t hear her. Diana did wake up when Roscoe ran down the hall to her bedroom. ‘I tried to let Roscoe outside to potty, but he ran back to my mother’s room and stood at her door … then I heard my mom calling me,’ Diana said. ‘My husband and I were able to get my mother off the floor. We are so proud of Roscoe our rescue dog and so grateful that he alerted us! Of course our family thinks he is a hero now!’ Roscoe is most definitely lifting spirits around Los Alamos. Courtesy photo
