NMPRC News:

SANTA FE — On behalf of the entire New Mexico Public Regulation Commission (PRC), we would like to send a message to the citizens of New Mexico regarding our on-going fight to slow down and stop the spread of COVID-19.

Our community of partners, family and friends are at the heart of what we do. As the situation continues to unfold with COVID-19, the health and safety of our community is of the utmost importance to the Commissioners and PRC staff.

We are closely monitoring and following the Governor’s executive orders and guidance from local governments, health officials and the Center for Disease Control.

We know that this is a challenging time and, as we share this journey with you, we continue to work for you. Though the Commissioners and PRC staff are teleworking and the PRC offices remain closed to the public, we are still available and open for business.

The NMPRC Open Meetings continue to be conducted weekly and open to the public via phone and video-conferencing. A link to the NMPRC website at the bottom of this page will allow you to:

  • watch or listen to the weekly Open Meetings;
  • access the temporary electronic filing policy (email, voicemails, regular mail, and deliveries are being monitored); and
  • access the PRC staff contact list

Thank you all for your understanding and support while we all adjust to the changes that have been brought upon us all with the coronavirus public health crisis.

Most importantly as we work through this, take care of yourself, your families, and your community. We are all in this together and we look forward to continuing to work closely with you to benefit the citizens of New Mexico.

Sincerely,

The Commissioners and Public Regulation Commission Staff
