POLITICAL News:
Rep. Christine Chandler (HD43) announced today that she has received the endorsement from the New Mexico Professional Fire Fighters Association (NMPFFA) for the 2020 General Election cycle.
“I am honored to have the support of New Mexico’s first responders,” Chandler said. “I will always stand up for these amazing women and men who put their lives on the line every day to protect our fellow New Mexicans.”
NMPFFA President Robert Sanchez said in a written statement to Chandler’s campaign, “The COVID-19 pandemic has shown us that now more than ever we need leaders in Santa Fe who will elevate their voices and advocate for the first responders across the state. Whether that means fighting for the PERA or the health and safety of our firefighters, we know that Chris will always have our backs. With so much at stake this election, our choice was clear. We need advocates like Chris Chandler representing us.”
