Traffic Alert:
Star Paving has announced the following traffic control changes for the New Mexico Department of Transportation N.M. 502 Roundabout/Road Construction Project.
These changes will be implemented this afternoon to accommodate construction activities on Trinity Drive and the median segments on N.M. 502:
- Eastbound traffic on Trinity Drive will be reduced to one way traffic from DP Road to the roundabout;
- Westbound traffic on N.M. 502 will be directed into the roundabout and onto Central Ave, which means traffic will become two way traffic just west of the roundabout on Central Avenue;
- Eastbound motorists are advised to use Central Avenue and will be directed into the roundabout where they will merge with the eastbound traffic from Trinity Drive;
- 4th Street will remain closed between the roundabout and Iris Street;
- Motorists are reminded that vehicles within the roundabout have the Right of Way; and
- East and westbound traffic east of the intersection of Canyon Road will be moved to the outer most lanes.
