Local astronomer Rick Wallace shared what are likely the best locations in town for viewing Jupiter and Saturn’s great conjunction this evening within an hour after sunset. Wallace suggests viewing the event in Los Alamos from the parking lot at the Canyon Rim Trail across from the Co-op Market. If viewing from White Rock, Wallace suggests observing the great conjunction from the Overlook Park area. Here’s a projected view of how Jupiter and Saturn will look this evening through a telescope.
