For years, New Mexico high school robotics teams have traveled hundreds of miles to compete in Texas. Saturday, July 11, Project Y Robotics Team 4153 of Los Alamos is changing that by hosting ABQ RoboRumble, New Mexico’s premier FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC) off-season event at St. Pius X High School in Albuquerque.

On Monday, New Mexico’s longtime volleyball coach Flo Valdez was officially inducted into the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) Hall of Fame Class of 2026. Valdez and the Class of 2026 was honored at the 43rd induction ceremony of the National High School Hall of Fame, which was held at the 107th NFHS Summer Meeting in Salt Lake City, UT. ALBUQUERQUE — Albuquerque welcomes athletes from across the country for the 3rd Annual Land of Enchantment Championships, hosted by Senior Softball USA, taking place through June 28 at the Los Altos Softball Complex.
